Recently launched, Icelandic Glacial Water is natural spring water from the sustainable Olfus Spring in Iceland. Available in 500ml, 1 litre and 1½ litre eye catching bottles. The high gloss, clear plastic bottles are designed to give the appearance of 3D ice cubes randomly arranged around the shoulder area.
As known innovators, Graham Labelling and Sleeving of Brightlingsea, Essex, was approached early in the concept stage. Working closely with the Icelandic technical staff, Grahams proposed a bespoke shrink sleeving system based around their RF250. Specially adapted for use with square bottles plus a steam shrink system, the RF250 provides the highest degree of sleeve placement accuracy. It is a flexible applicator that has low cost change parts; it is very reliable and well capable of decorating the square bottles without losing the clarity of such a high impact product.
Icelandic Glacial Water has now been fully launched. Indeed, Grahams featured it on their stand at the prestigious Interpack exhibition in Dusseldorf this year. The product and its bespoke RF250 sleeving system received much acclaim from the visitors, media and especially competitors.
The Graham RF range of compact, programmable sleeving and banding machines is able to cut and apply material to round and square containers at speeds of up to 250 per minute. An electronic control system, which is programmable via a visual display 'Human Machine Interface' graphics panel, allows the operator to store details of up to 50 machine settings and provides access to as many as 31 machine functions. Grahams' VF high-speed range now includes systems to apply body sleeves at speeds up to 650 products per minute.
