Ennis Foods Ltd of Co. Donegal, Ireland, have used their existing, clever, two-part packaging design to launch another product line - RUMBLERS Chips 'n' Dip - tortilla chips and salsa dip. The design is a two-part clear plastic bowl and base, each with its own lid. They are married together using a perforated full body sleeve that provides a single tamperproof container.

Ennis needed a compact yet robust sleeve applicator that could sleeve at least
120 pots per minute. Having already purchased and successfully operated a Graham Commander label applicator, Ennis once again turned to Grahams' engineering expertise to provide a shrink sleeving solution that would allow them
to produce a quality finish on such a potentially difficult shape.

Cathy Hannigan, Ennis Foods Production Manager says, "We chose a
Graham RF 200 because of its reliability and back-up service. The RF is compactly constructed yet parts are easily accessible for maintenance. As well as being efficient, it is also a bonus that some parts are common to our Commander label applicator."

The Graham RF range of compact, programmable sleeving and banding machines is able to cut and apply material to round and square containers at speeds of up to 250 per minute. An electronic control system, which is programmable via a visual display 'Human Machine Interface' graphics panel, allows the operator to store details of up to 50 machine settings and provides access to as many as 31 machine functions.
