Our steam operated tunnel is manufactured out of stainless steel with a double skin insulated exterior.

It is supplied with extraction hoods, a drain tray and a hinged lid with top opening access for cleaning or the removal of fallen containers. The tunnel contains eight steam delivery tubes, four each side which are controlled by individual needle valves giving on/off control as well as graduated steam delivery to suit the application. The valves are easily accessed for adjustment by the side doors.

With its compact design the tunnel whilst being available as a single unit can be fitted in series if zoning is required for a particular product. We can supply extractor fans suitable for up to 10mtrs of ducting as well as steam conditioning and pressure reducing kits.

Options available include a system to count containers in and out if there is a possibility of them falling over and also a motorised tunnel lift facility.

To support our range of shrink sleeving and tamper banding machines we offer a range of sizes and shapes of tunnels that also include electrical hot air and radiant tube.

To fully evaluate product shrinking requirements samples of containers and sleeve material are essential. We offer a pre order test on your products so you can see the results we can obtain.
