VF650 Shrink Sleeving Machine

The VF650 is an open frame vertical delivery shrink sleever, designed for the heavy duty operations that are required by to-days high volume producers. The machines footprint is one of the smallest available and the simple operator controls combined with low machine maintenance make it one of the most cost effective machines available.

Able to cut and apply PVC, PET or OPS material to multi shaped containers at speeds up to 650 per minute dependant upon the length of the material to be applied emphasizes the machines built in versatility.

The VF range of tamper banding and full body sleeving machines are amongst the fastest in the world. Graham Labelling and Sleeving has developed sophisticated controls for the cutting carriage and servo motors handling the material to ensure a repeatable cut length and material placement accuracy at high speeds is maintained.

Minimum machine down time for product change over’s without tools is achieved with users being able to create their own numbered programs through the colour MMI touch screen that can automatically set machine and ancillary module speeds. Additionally a patented fully adjustable cutter assembly means that the only ‘change part’ on the VF650 shrink sleever is the ‘Mandrel’.

Shrink sleeving systems based on the VF 650 sleeve apllicator are available to operate over a customer’s suitable existing conveyor or they can be supplied with an integral conveyor. Graham sleeving machines can handle empty or filled containers in plastic, glass or metal with numerous additional optional equipment available including material perforators, product spacing/positioning systems, no down time reel change option, missing sleeve and splice detect eject units, sleeve positioning systems, steam and electric heat shrink tunnels, and conveyors.
